Waterbeds come in two main varieties. Softside and hardside. |
||
Softside Waterbeds look much like an ordinary bed and usually come in the same sizes. Foam battens hold it's shape and everything is zipped into a very comfortable cover. These cost more than the hardside or wood wood frame waterbed. High comfort level. |
Hardside or wood frame waterbeds are similar to the traditional style waterbed from the 60's & 70's. The technology has been greatly updated with layers of foam inside to provide a stable sleep surface. |

Boyd Flotation is a part of Boyd Specialty Sleep and we offer two wood frame waterbed mattress lines from Boyd, Boyd Fiber and Memory's a special line available only to select dealers on the East Coast. Boyd got into the waterbed business around two decades ago when suppliers were not able to keep up with demand and Boyd decided it had to create it's own line of mattresses to fill this need.
